Wikki Stix are such a versatile tool. While many teachers love using them for basic skills in primary grades, I love to use them with secondary students to add some higher level, creative thinking challenges. In this middle school co-taught language arts lesson, you will see how students have been challenged to use Wikki Stix to represent the concept of a memoir symbolically.

Anne Beninghof, an internationally recognized consultant and trainer, has more than thirty-two years of experience working with students and teachers, in a variety of public and private settings. She has been a special education teacher, adjunct faculty member of the University of Hartford and the University of Colorado, has published several books and videos, and provided staff development in 49 states.
